All music available on Max Sonance is protected by copyright. A license grants the right to use a track in a specific project under defined conditions. Ownership of the music and all intellectual property rights remain with the composer.

Licensing is required for any use beyond private listening, including creative and commercial projects.

Creator License $50*

Designed for online video and personal creative projects.

This license applies to individual creative use and small-scale projects. This license is valid for lifetime use.

Typical use cases include:

  • Online video content

  • Monetized content

  • Personal creative projects

  • Portfolio and showcase works

This license permits synchronization of music with visual or audio content and distribution of the finished project through online platforms.

Projects involving commissioned client work, branded content, or broader commercial use require a higher license tier.

Indie License $300*

Designed for independent productions, branded content, and commercial projects.

This license applies to independently produced projects with commercial intent and professional presentation. This license is valid for lifetime use.

Typical use cases include:

  • Independent short films and narrative projects

  • Independent documentary productions

  • Branded content and promotional videos

  • Commercial digital campaigns

  • Indie games and interactive projects

  • Client work for small and medium businesses

This license covers commercial usage without broadcast or large-scale public placement.

Projects involving television broadcast, cinema release, or high-visibility public distribution require a higher license tier.

Pro License

Pro License represents a custom licensing model and is not part of the standard automated purchase flow.

Designed for broadcast, cinematic and studio productions, and global commercial projects with wide audience reach. This license applies to projects with significant public exposure and professional distribution.

Pro licenses may be issued for fixed-term or lifetime use, depending on project requirements.

Typical use cases include:

  • Television broadcast and streaming platform productions

  • Cinematic and studio productions (films and series)

  • Movie, series, and game trailers

  • Video games and interactive entertainment

  • Large-scale commercial campaigns

  • High-visibility public releases

Pricing is determined individually and depends on the following factors:

  • Scope of distribution (regional, national, or global)

  • License duration (1 year, 10 years, or lifetime)
  • Expected audience reach (niche or limited audience, broad public audience, or global audience)

Indicative pricing ranges (for reference):

  • Regional or limited-scope projects: $500+*

  • National-level productions or campaigns: $800+*

  • International or global projects: $1,300+*

Licensing is provided upon direct request. License terms and pricing are determined individually based on project requirements and agreed with the licensee prior to payment. Upon confirmation of all conditions, an invoice is issued and licensed materials are delivered after payment.

License Framework

  • Licensing grants the right to use a music track within the scope of a specific project.

  • The license type defines the scope of use based on project scale and audience reach and may include multiple content types within the same project.

  • For projects requiring extended or non-standard conditions within Creator or Indie licenses, terms may be agreed individually upon request.

  • All licenses available on this website are non-exclusive and grant usage rights within the scope of a specific project. For projects requiring exclusive rights, bespoke licensing can be arranged upon request.
